Use e-visas and visit the Moscow Dive Show

From the 8th to the 11th of February 2024, Moscow will host the Moscow Dive Show, the premier exhibition for aquatic enthusiasts in Russia and Eastern Europe.

We understand that attending exhibitions in our country has often been complicated by the visa application process for entry into Russia. However, we have good news!

Starting on August 1, 2023, Russia has implemented a simplified system for obtaining electronic visas (e-visas) for foreign citizens from the countries listed below. This means that eligible individuals no longer need to make reservations, endure long waiting times, or submit extensive documentation.

Now, just a few days before your planned visit to Russia (between 40 and 4 days prior to your intended entry), you can electronically submit your application through the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website at https://electronic-visa.kdmid.ru or through the mobile application, which can be downloaded from the mentioned website.

When applying, all you need to provide is a digital photograph of your face and a scanned copy of your passport details page. That's it! No additional documentation is required to obtain a e-visa, which will be processed within a mere 4 calendar days from the date of application.

It's important to note two key limitations:

A e-visa allows a maximum stay of 16 days, ample for your 4-day participation in the Moscow Dive Show and exploring the city's cultural and historical treasures.

With the e-visa you can enter and exit Russia using only through certain border crossing points. For those heading to Moscow, these are the airports "Moscow (Vnukovo)," "Moscow (Domodedovo)," "Moscow (Sheremetyevo)." You can find the full list of entry points on the website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at https://electronic-visa.kdmid.ru (refer to the second condition).

The privilege of obtaining an e-visa to Russia is extended to citizens from the following countries:
