The "Depth without Borders" category, dedicated to inclusive underwater sports, is presented by Grigory Galeev, who has a whole list of impressive achievements, many of which were first performed by a diver with limited mobility.
Grigory Galeev:
– the first technical diver in Russia with paraplegia of the lower extremities – - the first paraplegic diver to
pass the world-famous Blue Hole Arch in Egypt; – the first paraplegic diver
in Russia to complete an Ice diver course and subsequently dive under the ice of Lake Baikal.
As well as a paraplegic diver who has successfully mastered a dry wetsuit, a lifeguard diver, a sidemount diver, a consultant mentor on social adaptation and an expert on inaccessible environments.
On Saturday, February 10, from the stage of the Moscow Dive Show 2024, Grigory will talk about the difficulties that he had to face on the way to achievements and what else he wants to achieve in diving.
The show "Heroes of the Deep" will start on February 10 at 17: 00 on the stage of Moscow Dive Show 2024 in Gostiny Dvor.
The water Man exhibition Moscow Dive Show 2024 will be held in Moscow's Gostiny Dvor from February 8 to 11, 2024.
Ticket sales will start on November 15, 2023.
