Heroes of Depth 2024-young Amina Chernichenko and youth Education - Depth without Borders nomination

The depth of this category was so limitless that this season we have two heroes in it. We have already introduced you to Grigory Galeev, and today we present you Amina Chernichenko.
Amina is only 9 years old, since birth the girl has a musculoskeletal disability, but this did not prevent her from becoming interested in water sports and becoming a Hero of Depth 2024 at such a young age. Amina took up diving while looking at her father, Rinat Chernichenko, who appeared on the stage of the Moscow Dive Show as a Hero of the Deep in February 2023.
The first time Amina dived with her father on the Octopus was in 2021 and was delighted with the dive. Now Amina is a student of the Anapa scuba diving club "AquaGlobus" and dives on her own. But Amina's hobbies are not limited to diving, she also goes swimming in the pool and enjoys freediving. Amina's dream is to learn freediving at school from her idol in this field – Alexey Molchanov-and become a record holder.
Amina already has good results, she can swim a 25-meter-long pool in one breath, and hold her breath in static for 2 minutes and 48 seconds.
Amina also actively promotes interest in scuba diving among young people. At school, she gives presentations, tells her peers about the history of diving, secrets of underwater communication, types of equipment and many other details, and this year Amina added a whole course of lectures on freediving to the presentation. All this is of great interest to both students and teachers.
On the stage of the Moscow Dive Show, Amina will be awarded the Hero of the Deep 2024 award for her enthusiasm, love of underwater sports and significant contribution to the promotion of diving and freediving among her peers.
The show "Heroes of the Deep" starts at 17: 00 on Saturday, February 10, 2024 on the stage of Gostiny Dvor in Moscow. Any guest of the Moscow Dive Show 2024 can become a spectator of the show for free, just buy an entrance ticket to the exhibition.
