The exhibition debutant-Norilsk diving club "69 Parallel" is the northernmost diving community in Russia and the only one on the entire Taimyr Peninsula! We are pleased to inform you that in February 2024, at the dive show, everyone will have the opportunity to meet the club's representatives and learn all the details of diving in Lama Lake on the legendary Putorana Plateau.
69 Parallel Diving Club:
Over the long years of our club's activity, we have studied and explored many lakes and reservoirs of the Putorana Plateau. Today we offer you to plunge into the world of wild nature, far from civilization and dive into the purest waters of the Putorana plateau, in this unique place of our planet among the most beautiful table mountains.
The club's team consists of diving instructors, dive masters, active lifeguards and freedivers. All scuba dives are carried out with mandatory safety measures and exclusively in dry wetsuits, since even in summer the water temperature at a depth of no more than +4°C.
Considering that many of the plateau's lakes are located in a plate tectonic fault, some of them are over 300 meters deep. This allows you to engage in technical diving, as well as freediving.
In 2023, on Lake Lama, the pearl of the Putorana Plateau, multiple world record holder in freediving Alexey Molchanov set a new "Arctic" Russian record for a breath-holding dive, diving 100 meters deep."
