Heroes of the Deep 2024-Elena Kashina and the highest mountain solo female scuba dive - Depth of Height nomination

In August 2023, NDL dive master, president of the KKEOO "TSPI "Other Dimension"" Elena Kashina, as part of a group of instructors of the National Dive League, climbed to an altitude of 3,380 meters above sea level and plunged into the highest (officially registered) lake of the Elbrus region – the mystical Northern Birjaly or, as it is also called, "the dead eye of the genie."
After providing all the certificates, the record in the category "the highest female solo dive" became official, and Elena became the world record holder.
Elena's support and safety were provided by her expedition colleagues-heroes of the Deep 2021 and 2022 and ambassadors of the Moscow Dive Show 2024-Konstantin Izotov and Yuri Kashin, who will also take the stage during the Heroes of the Deep show. By the way, during the same expedition, Konstantin and Yuri set their world record in the category "the highest mountain dive with research purposes in tandem", which will be discussed separately during the exhibition days (see the information in the poster).
The official sponsor of the expedition was Inbank LLC, Aquadiscovery provided a wetsuit for diving, and a film crew of Mir TV company accompanied the divers on the way. Divers were supported by the Moscow Branch of the Russian Geographical Society( RGS), the Krasnodar Branch of the Russian Geographical Society and their native dive centers: the "Other Dimension Underwater Research Center", as well as the Gomel Diving Center (Belarus).
We will learn about the features of high-altitude diving, harsh weather conditions and underwater fauna of the mountain lake directly from the participants of the expedition, on the stage of the Moscow Dive Show 2024.
The show "Heroes of the Deep" starts at 17: 00 on Saturday, February 10, 2024 on the stage of Gostiny Dvor in Moscow. Any guest of the Moscow Dive Show 2024 can become a spectator of the show for free, just buy an entrance ticket to the exhibition.
